Area Tickets is operated by The Area Hotel & Bistro, located at 208 Banna Ave, Griffith NSW 2680, Australia. When you purchase a ticket through this website, your information is collected and held by The Area Hotel & Bistro.

What we collect

When you purchase a ticket we collect:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your marketing consent preference
  • The event and ticket types you purchased
  • Your payment reference (Stripe transaction ID — we never see or store card numbers)

Card payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never receive, see, or store your card number, CVV, or billing address.

How we use your information

  • To issue your QR tickets and send your confirmation email
  • To check you in at the door on the night of the event
  • To contact you if there is a problem with your booking
  • If you opted in: to send you updates about future events at The Area Hotel & Bistro

Who we share your information with

We use the following third-party services to process your booking. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Supabase — secure database storage
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

How long we keep your information

We retain booking records (name, email, phone, order details) for a minimum of seven years as required by Australian tax law. Ticket check-in records are retained for the same period.

Your rights

Under Australian Privacy Law and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Withdraw marketing consent at any time
