Terms & Conditions

1. Tickets

  • Tickets are issued to the buyer email address as QR codes. Present your QR code and a valid photo ID at the door.
  • Tickets are non-transferable unless stated otherwise on the event page.
  • Lost or stolen tickets are the responsibility of the purchaser. Contact venue staff if you have not received your confirmation email.
  • Group tickets (e.g. Group Pass 4) must be presented together at the door. All members of the group must arrive at the same time.

2. Entry conditions

  • 18+ events: Valid government-issued photo ID is required for all attendees. No ID, no entry. No exceptions.
  • Midnight lockout: NSW liquor law applies. After midnight, re-entry is not permitted.
  • RSA: Responsible Service of Alcohol rules apply at all times. The venue reserves the right to refuse service.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person at its absolute discretion.

3. Refunds and cancellations

  • Tickets are generally non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the venue.
  • If an event is cancelled, ticket holders will be notified by email and a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • The venue is not liable for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred in attending an event.

4. Payment

  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Area Tickets never stores your card details.
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.
  • Your ticket is only valid once payment has been confirmed. Do not attempt to purchase again if your browser shows a pending status — your ticket will arrive by email once Stripe confirms the payment.

5. Liability

The Area Hotel & Bistro is not responsible for loss, injury, or damage suffered at an event beyond what is required by Australian Consumer Law. Attendance at events is at your own risk.

6. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
